Deceased Estates & Challenging A Will

The “administration” or finalising of a deceased estate can be an uncomfortable and sometimes daunting task at an already difficult time in your life.

Let us help with the legal and financial matters involved in the administration process.

We can advise whether a Grant of Probate will be required for the estate and if so, assist the executors with the necessary Supreme Court process involved.

If you have been left out of a Will or, if you feel you have not been provided for sufficiently in a Will, you may be able to contest or challenge the Will.

Before deciding to challenge a Will, there are a number of critical issues to consider and more often than not, these disputes are able to be resolved by way of negotiation and without the necessity of formal Supreme Court proceedings.
